New Is What Is Ever New

'Newness' has fascinations beyond all telling for all of us. 'New beginning', 'new job', 'new thought', 'new production', and alike show us the depth of human creativity and capacity to soar higher and higher to find newness in all walks of life. There is never a poverty of newness. There is a big rush everywhere especially these days, in the roads, in the malls, in the buses and trains, people busy going to and fro, buying and selling in view of  celebrating the new year to come. What has the new year to offer us, for which we spend our time, energy and material goods? Probably, it has the vital message to communicate that there are countless opportunities awaiting, endless risks to take, bottomless ocean of love that is unshared kept within. The new avenues of hope that tell us 'everything is not yet over'; there is a way to get around all our fears, worries, anxieties, uncertainties, pains and aches. In short, starting afresh or beginning new is not impossible. No matter how bad you were until the day that has just gone by there is a new day ahead calling you to start afresh once again; no matter how lonely and depressed you were in the last year, lost in your little world of so called "your troubles", there is a ray of hope in the year ahead. It is awaiting to lead you into bigger picture of the world, to get into deep relational bonds that are above flesh and blood, lust and gold.
We humans have got a special gift from the wonderful Designer, the good God. That is our ability to explore, never bored of getting ahead, meeting the new. New rather newness is ever new. Let us not say that we have nothing new to contribute, to explore or to find out because great minds have explored all. The good Creator has got enough and unique jobs for everyone of us. Newness does not consist only in inventing new things, producing new brands of goods but also following not the crowd, letting your uniqueness aglow.
May the new year mark the beginning of humanity and help us realize our call to new creation filled with love, hope, joy, faith and commitment. May the ceaseless urge of humanity take hold of all of us and help us unearth the hidden and unrecognized potentialities that lie within awaiting to bloom.
